Do you have a passion for helping others, but unsure of how? Do you have a desire to leave your neighborhood, your town, your state or the world a little bit better than it is today? Well here is the club for you. A Difference maker is a person that wants to have positive change for someone no matter your age. In this club we will discuss different challenges here in Colorado as well as around the world. We will use the PBL method to determine a possible solution that can address the problems through the development of a new product. We will then work with local manufacturing companies and our new maker’s space to develop a prototype that can be implemented to help improve someone’s life. Such as Ann Makosinski, a 15-year-old high school junior from Victoria, British Columbia, who created a flashlight powered by the holder’s body heat. This technology can help people around the world who do not have access to power or other energy sources. If you want to be an inventor who can use their ideas to change others then sign up today!
*The club will meet in room F104 every Monday and Thursday at 3:30
